This piece was conceived of years ago while I was living in Brooklyn.  It is based on a bunch of ornamental grass spotted in a neighbor’s yard. I wanted to make a drawing capturing the loops and swirls, like a roller coaster for the eye.  It began as pencil and paper (pictured below) and evolved into a digital drawing completed on a Cintiq tablet.
